About the CCAA
Being a member of the Cumberland County Apartment Association is a business decision in the right direction. The ability to increase profits and productivity, while remaining on the cutting edge of the industry are the two most critical reasons for being members of CCAA, for both Vendor Associates and Owner/Operators alike.
What is CCAA?
The Cumberland County Apartment Association is a group of professionals comprised of apartment owners, property managers, and their employees, as well as the vendors they do business with.
As an Owner/Operator, How does CCAA Benefit Me?
Being a member of CCAA allows you the opportunity to meet and network with other properties in your area. This includes referrals from other properties not able to accommodate all the needs of their traffic. As a member of CCAA, you remain abreast of all current and proposed legislation affecting our industry. We are proud to have PAC (Political Action Committee), a committee supporting Apartment Friendly Candidates across the country, which enhances NAA's national legislative position. Education is another important part of our industry. Throughout the year, seminars, designation programs and certification programs are offered at a discount rate for the benefit of our members. Leases, written by some of the nation's best real estate attorneys, may be purchased through the association.
As an Vendor Associate, Am I assured Everyone's Business?
No. But as an vendor associate member, you are on a preferred list. As situations arise the owner/operator members will be calling on you to service their needs. This means that regardless of the amount of money your competitors may have spent on lengthy Yellow Page ads, CCAA members will refer to the Membership Directory before turning to the phone book. Why? Because being in the membership directory means you have done business with another member and have an instant referral. This directory also offers you a list of potential leads. The monthly luncheon meetings are your opportunity to network and get to know these owner/operators on a one-to-one basis.
